For some reason there doesn't seem to be any Java applications created for instant messaging on the Motorola Clutch i465.

That isn't the end all, however. There are several options for instant messaging via your phone's web browser. I highly recommend using Opera Mini. Instructions on how to get Opera Mini installed on your Motorola Clutch i465 can be found at BoostStuff.

  • Ebuddy - This service offers you AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Facebook, Google Talk, and ICQ all at one place.
  • MSN/Live Messenger - You can access it from your phone's browser directly by visiting mim.live.com.
  • Yahoo Messenger - You can access it directly from your phone's browser by visiting m.yahoo.com and clicking on the messenger link.
  • AIM - It seems the only way to get access to this is through a site like Ebuddy.
  • Myspace - You can access this from your phone's browser by going to m.myspace.com.
  • Facebook - You can access this from your phone's browser also by going to m.facebook.com.
