sabayon_5.4_logo.svg - The offical Sabayon Lin...

I know I've been MIA for a while. I've been pretty busy with my college classes, so I haven't had much time for anything else. Being sick for the past two weeks hasn't helped much, either.

I'm going to start writing articles on Linux again as soon as I get the chance. I've enjoyed my little "vacation" but I'm really missing my Tux fix. I should hopefully have a review of Sabayon 8 coming up soon, as well as a review of Ubuntu 12.04 when it comes out. So keep an eye out for them and tell me what you think! :)

InPalatka.com has been doing very well. I haven't sold any ads in a while but then again I haven't really been trying to sell them, either. I've just been giving the website some time to grow and expand, and it is going pretty well. There's about 170 likes on Facebook right now, and that number keeps on growing. Local businesses are also becoming more familiar with the name. The website is also now the second website that comes up in Google when you do a search for "Palatka", second only to the Wiki article about it. It's really becoming a project for me to be proud of. The only downside to it is I got behind on the news while I was sick, but fortunately I am feeling better and have gotten caught up. I'm hoping someday I will come across someone locally that can help me out with the website so if I get sick again the news will keep on coming. Unfortunately there's not many, if any, people that are willing to put in the work selling ads so they can get paid, much less people that will volunteer their time for it.  It's kind of funny because I would think there would be someone willing to at least sell ads considering the economic crisis we're in. Ce la vie, though.

I've been very happy with the performance of my Toshiba L755D-S5204 laptop. It's definitely a buy I don't regret making, even if it doesn't work with Ubuntu 11.10. I'm hoping it will work with Ubuntu 12.04 since it works with Sabayon 7. We will find out when Ubuntu 12.04 final comes out!

Well I have an Algebra exam to do, so I will catch ya later. Take care!
